During my tenure at Alfen, a pioneering force in electric vehicle (EV) infrastructure, I led the development of multiple EV charger platforms, including the cutting-edge EV platform. I also played a pivotal role in shaping SMART grid advancements at medium-voltage substations and the innovative grid-battery solutions that are shaping the future of energy distribution.
Following my time at Alfen, I spent 2 years as the R&D Manager at ELEQ, where I delved into energy metering equipment, enriching my understanding of current transformers and “smart” public grid connection boxes – technologies integral to the modernization of energy networks.

My academic foundation in Applied Physics and Mechanical Engineering/Systems and Control has consistently fueled my passion for energy transitions. This commitment is not just professional but also personal, evident in my lifestyle choices. I have been an electric vehicle enthusiast for 8 years, gaining invaluable practical insights into the realm of electric transportation. Furthermore, my home boasts 85 solar panels, with plans for a cutting-edge battery system – a testament to my belief in practicing what I preach.
